A Peaceful mind, easeful body and radiant health with a Raw Yoga Lifestyle!

Hello! Welcome to my blog. I’m writing to instruct people on the benefits of living a raw yoga lifestyle. The Raw or “Living” Foods Diet and Yoga are two of the most elite body sciences that I’ve discovered to give people their health back. It is each one of our birthrights to achieve radiant and abundant health!  I write about this passionately, because I know what it’s like to feel fatigued and lousy. I was diagnosed with Narcolepsy when I was 22 years old. It runs in my family. My mother has it and my grandfather had it. I used to be exhausted all of the time. I took frequent naps, I drank 9 cups of coffee a day, and I was prescribed a low dose amphetamine called Adderall to keep me awake(and even after taking this I fell asleep sometimes). The neurologist who diagnosed me with narcolepsy and prescribed me an amphetamine never asked me about my diet, my hydration, my daily caffeine intake, my alcohol intake, the amount of exercise I get or my sleep hygiene. I was over toxic, undernourished, sleep deprived(I’m talking about good quality regular sleep), chronically dehydrated and my adrenal glands were exhausted. I later learned that most ailments that people suffer from are just a collection of imbalances. When we correct those imbalances we can THRIVE, live to our full potential and have the SUPER HEALTH that each of us deserve.  By incorporating Raw foods into my diet and maintaining a regular Yoga practice I was able to correct my neurological imbalances and feel my absolute best.
You are what you put in your body-Let’s begin with the obvious, but no less brilliant phrase, you are what you eat. In today’s world often times people are eating over processed nutrient deficient food like substances when they should be eating organic raw foods also called living foods. These conventional foods are laden with chemical fertilizers, pesticides, preservatives, additives, and artificial colors. Sure our bodies have a natural ability to eliminate waste and toxins, but in our current world there are an excessive amount of toxins being introduced into our systems. This toxic overload comes from the air that we breathe, the water that we drink and, as stated above and most importantly, the food that we eat. If measures aren’t taken to eliminate these toxins from our bodies, they get stored in our blood stream and tissues(cells) and create an environment for disease. We are only as healthy as each one of our individual cells are.
Are you toxic? In today’s world it is probably safe to say yes. And large majority of disease, conditions and ailments that people are currently suffering from can be attributed to over toxicity and under nourishment. When we eat nutrient deficient foods heavily laden with toxins our bodies become sick and sluggish. The toxins stress our whole body particularly our vital organs and our glandular system. We may come down with conditions such as chronic headaches, constipation, excessive fatigue, body aches, acne, insomnia or sleeping too much, arthritis, depression, compromised sexual function, hormonal imbalance and frequent cold or flues. The Raw Food Diet and Yoga(I’m specifically speaking of Asanas and Pranayama) give our bodies the tools it needs to eliminate these toxins and rejuvenate itself which in turn will increase energy, slow aging, prevent illness, obtain your ideal body weight and help overcome unhealthy food addictions.
Why Yoga? Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice that releases mental tension, stretches and strengthens the body, tones the organs, balances endocrine glands, releases toxins and significantly reduces the catabolic process of cell deterioration. Taking into account the interrelationship between body and mind, yoga combines all the movements you need for physical health and the breathing and meditation techniques for a quiet and peaceful mind. A sound Yoga practice and a raw food diet is the key to achieving a peaceful mind, an ease-ful body and radiant health! Cheers!
